To help prevent the potential for infection from bacterial contaminated water in your DUWL (dental unit water lines), follow A-dec’s recommended “Maintain, Monitor, Shock” approach. This will ensure your bacterial colony forming count is under ADA’s recommended <200 CFU (colony forming units).
Accreditation and regulatory bodies require dental practices to have their autoclaves validated to meet Australian Standards annually, or whenever a major service/repair is carried out, to ensure autoclave parameters are within manufacturer’s specifications and temperature and pressure sensors have not drifted over time.

Body-Protected Electrical Area testing is carried out in Patient Treatment Area in Hospitals, Dental Surgeries and many other Health Care facilities. A Body-Protected Area is a Patient Treatment Area as defined in AS/NZ 3003:2018 which requires annual inspection and testing. West Coast Dental Depot provides the specialised assessment and advisory service to ensure your surgery conforms to the required standard to give you peace of mind.
When administering Nitrous Oxide its important that regulated gas quantities being delivered as shown on the devices instruments are correct. WCDD Nata approved and validated flow device gives documented proof that the required gas quantities are at the required specification.
